Evelina Antonetty used to have cuatrista, Yomo Toro, play music to attract people to their voter registration table. In that spirit, Nos Quedamos will have a voter registration table at the BMH Plaza during the “VOTE FOR WOMEN” concert of women vocalists and musicians performing songs which they composed in honor of the centennial of women getting the right to vote for the BMHC’s exhibit, ‘A Portrait of Persistance.’ (Sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution’s Traveling Exhibit Service).
