A birthday celebration for the centennial of Dr. Evelina Antonetty.
Comité Noviembre will announce the establishment of the Dr. Evelina Antonetty Scholarship for Community Activism & will recognize the lifelong work and contributions of Elba Cabrera (La Madrina de las Artes).
Comité Noviembre will introduce a major educational program “Teaching Evelina” that will highlight the “Images of Evelina”* exhibit artwork to develop lesson plans and classroom activities to introduce future generations to the work and legacy of Dr. Evelina Antonetty.
*”Images of Evelina” is a visual arts exhibition of specially commissioned work celebrating the life and times of Evelina Antonetty and organized by the Evelina 100 Celebration Committee.
