“Evelina, Brave Forever” – Humberto Ramírez, Composer
A specially commissioned jazz piece by virtuoso trumpeter, director, arranger and composer Humberto Ramírez.
Forever Brave is a musical composition inspired by the legacy of Evelina Antonetty. Her dedication, leadership and efforts gave me a variety of ideas to develop this musical work. The sound and musical influences allows the listener to experience a musical voyage from the afrocaribbean rhythms of Puerto Rico to the urban latin sounds of New York City.
